FlockSmart's goal is to create a safe, friendly are on the Web where people interested in attending and forming flocks/"smart mobs" can come together, knowing that their information is reasonably secure from improper usage. In the end, the most important rule is to just use common sense and show respect toward your fellow flockers.

By using FlockSmart's services, you agree to the following:

1. You will NOT post information that is defamatory or libelous or anything that incites violence, destruction of property or criminal acts.
2. You will NOT post information that is commercial in nature or not directly related to "Flocking" and "Smart Mobbing" events. Any such posting will result in an immediate termination of your account and any related postings. If necessary, we will also seek legal action and prosecute to the fullest extent that the law allows. The definition of a commercial posting (a.k.a. "Spam") is left to the sole discretion of the FlockSmart administrators.
3. FlockSmart administrators reserve the right to pull a flock announcement or drop your account at any time for any reason at any time at their sole discretion.
4. FlockSmart and its principals are not liable for anything that happens at any announced events. We simply provide a space where such events can be announced and potential participants can be informed.
5. Though we will make every effort to ensure that the site is stable and that you are provided the best service, neither FlockSmart nor its principals will be held liable for anything that may happen to your equipment in conjunction with the site's use.
6. Though we make every effort to keep your information secure and private, FlockSmart and its principals will not be held liable for any of your information that may be stolen or leaked to the public.

Your privacy is important to us

In order to provide you the best service possible, FlockSmart must gather certain information from you that may be considered private in nature. We promise the following:

1. FlockSmart and its principals will never sell or give away any information that may be personally traceable to you. This includes your names, addresses(s), contact information and email addresses.
2. FlockSmart and its principals will never use your personal information to solicit for any commercial enterprise not directly related to the site's purpose. In short, we will not send you non-FlockSmart related mail.
3. FlockSmart and its principals will make every effort to keep "spammers" from improperly using the system to send unsolicited commercial emails to our users. However, we do expect that some folks may abuse the system from time to time and we ask for your patience and cooperation while we make efforts to reduce and, hopefully, eliminate these abuses.
